Framily Shuttle Service

The Framily Shuttle Service is a planned transportation initiative to provide free, reliable transit for our clients, enhancing access to essential services and support facilities. In collaboration with city and county officials, we aim to design a comprehensive bus route that includes strategic stops at key community resources such as the Social Security Office, DMV, and day centers, alongside important local shelters and non-profits. The service will also provide specialized transportation for medical appointments, ensuring clients can access healthcare without transportation barriers.   

We are planning to actively engage in forming strategic partnerships with local shelters, NPOs, service centers, and Lynx, the regional public transportation authority. Our aim is to optimize the Framily Support Network’s (FSN) transportation network and capabilities. These collaborations are intended to ensure that our shuttle routes comprehensively cover essential services and support facilities for our clients. By integrating our service with Lynx's existing public transit system, we plan to significantly expand accessibility for our clients, leveraging a broad network of resources to facilitate a wider reach and enhanced service efficiency. This joint effort underscores our commitment to fostering a supportive ecosystem that addresses transportation barriers, thereby enhancing the quality of life and accessibility of services for those in need.  

We plan to implement a dedicated service for facilitating client transportation to and from medical appointments, prioritizing health and wellness within our support services. This initiative will ensure that clients have reliable, timely access to medical care, which is crucial for maintaining and improving health outcomes.

Our goal is to ensure that the Framily Shuttle Service is responsive to the needs of our clients. We intend to establish regular feedback mechanisms to adapt and refine the service offering based on client input. This approach will help us continuously improve the shuttle service, making it more effective and tailored to the specific transportation needs of the people we serve.
